Department Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Supervisor to oversee our Amazon department operations. This role leads a small team in order fulfillment, ensuring high productivity, accuracy, and quality standards. The supervisor will manage inventory, support daily warehouse activities, and actively assist with picking, packing, labeling, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a small warehouse team within the Amazon department Ensure timely, accurate picking, packing, and labeling of Amazon orders Monitor and maintain team productivity and workflow efficiency Perform quality control checks to ensure order accuracy and compliance with company standards Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including cycle counts and audits Assist team members with order fulfillment tasks as needed Safely operate a deep reach forklift for storage, retrieval, and staging of products Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and documentation of shipments Wrap and prepare completed pallets for shipment Train, coach, and support team members to meet performance expectations Enforce safety guidelines and company policies at all times

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred Experience in warehouse operations Ability to operate a deep reach forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain) Strong attention to detail, especially in quality control processes Good organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50-70 lbs, standing, and moving equipment) Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team

Fast-paced warehouse setting with company fulfillment standards and deadlines Requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
