Starion Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist in Mandan, ND to support retail and business banking operations through accurate transaction processing, exception handling, and operational support. This is a temporary 6-month position.

MonthsKey Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of deposit operations functions including processing exception items, balancing official bank checks, processing return items, and verifying endorsements onlarge items. Process notices, statements, reclamations,addendas, ACH non-post reports, incoming batches, and Federal Reserve/Bank of North Dakota files while meeting established deadlines.

Provide high-quality support and solutions for internal and external customer inquiries and perform miscellaneous account maintenance. Maintain procedures and historical recordsin accordance withbanking regulations, audit requirements, and compliance standards. Utilize various banking systems and software to complete operational tasks accurately and efficiently. Remain up to date on compliance regulations, bank policies, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

One to three years of banking, deposit operations, or related experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple and sometimes competing tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiencywith banking systems, operational processes, and regulatory requirements preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
