Duties Help Serves as an alter ego for the AIGI directing the development or modificion of planning, coordinion, and control of field investigive activities reled to criminal fraud, white-collar crimes, abuse of public trust, and employee integrity and misconduct. Organizes and manages the field divisions to align with program needs and the Inspector General's priorities and initiives. Exercises authority to examine all SSA programs and to initie investigions. Develops plans for field investigions, including resource requirements; manages the full scope of field investigions, including program evaluion; and presents accomplishments and recommendions based on valid and meaningful reporting criteria to the Inspector General, the Commissioner of Social Security, and Congress. Integres innovive measures and techniques into the field operions to improve detection capabilities and enhance efficiency. Such measures and techniques could rele to informion technology, da analytics, or automion, and inter-component collaborion. Develops stements of program goals containing resource requirements for use as guides for the Inspector General and the Commissioner of Social Security for budgetary hearings and congressional committees.
