Job Description

Office Manager - Dermatology Practice Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity | Competitive Pay & Benefits Busy multi-location dermatology practice is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Office Manager to oversee daily operations and help lead our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the dermatology practice to ensure efficiency, organization, and compliance Lead, supervise, and support front desk, clinical, and administrative staff Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management Interview, hire, and train new team members and ensure competency checklists are completed Ensure excellent patient service standards and respond professionally to patient reviews and concerns Oversee billing, collections, refunds and revenue cycle performance in collaboration with billing staff Ensure timely payment of office bills and invoices Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies and procedures Develop and improve workflows, protocols, and office systems and ensure completion of daily, weekly and monthly checklists by staff. Monitor appointment flow, office performance, budgets, and key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement Serve as liaison between providers, staff, vendors, and outside partners Visit referring physician offices, coordinate lunches, and assist with relationship-building and holiday outreach Communicate content and cosmetic specials with the design team for the monthly office newsletter and post in each office. Manage inventory of retail products and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
Qualifications:
Previous medical office management experience required (dermatology experience preferred) Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills Knowledge of medical office operations, insurance processes, and compliance standards Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Tech-savvy with strong computer and typing skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
