Full Job Description About Us:

At Hat Bar, we're a women-owned and operated boutique offering custom hat-making experiences. Customers can create unique baseball caps and felt hats by adding patches, ribbons, decorative chains, flowers, and more. With a focus on creativity and personalization, we offer a hands-on experience where each customer can brand and design their own one-of-a-kind hat. We are looking for a Custom Hat Artist to join our team and bring these custom creations to life!

Position:

Custom Hat Artist The Day-to-Day:

Greet customers with a smile and make a memorable first impression—connect with them authentically and enthusiastically. Deliver exceptional customer service, guiding customers through the hat design process and creating seamless, fun, and creative experiences. Assist customers in selecting hat styles, patches, ribbons, and other decorative elements, providing expert advice. Maintain a positive and energetic attitude while working toward personal and store goals. Be flexible, adaptive, and always ready to make the customer experience the best part of their day. Collaborate with teammates and foster a respectful and friendly work environment. Assist with daily operations such as cleaning, organizing, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining the hat bar area.

Expectations:

Master product knowledge and use it to guide customers through their custom hat experience. Exceed sales and customer service expectations by delivering personalized and engaging experiences. Assist with processing hats and keeping the work area clean and organized. Offer insights and feedback to the management team to improve the customer experience. Uphold the values of creativity, quality, and outstanding customer service in every task.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old. Be available during peak times, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Able to bend, stretch, and lift at least 40 pounds as needed. Comfortable working in all areas of the store and easily accessible to customers. Join Our Team!
