Freelance VFX Artist (Temporary) Nathan Doan Productions Oceanside, CA Job Details Temporary | Contract $22 - $25 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Video effects application UI Achieving project delivery timelines Adobe After Effects Full Job Description We're looking for a freelance VFX artist to help create high-quality visual effects for a Youtube channel. This is a temporary contract position focused on designing and integrating video game-style UI elements into live-action footage. Project Focus We're looking for someone who can create effects such as: Inventory and equipment interfaces Health bars, XP bars, and HUD elements Item pop-ups and notifications Quest markers, damage numbers, menus, and other game-inspired UI Motion graphics and visual effects that blend naturally with live-action footage What You'll Do Design and animate game-style UI/HUD elements. Track and composite effects into live-action scenes. Collaborate with our team to match the creative vision. Deliver polished effects on agreed-upon deadlines. Qualifications Experience with VFX and motion graphics for video content. Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar software. Experience with motion tracking, compositing, and integrating graphics into live-action footage. Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant VFX work. Experience creating video game-inspired UI/HUD elements is highly preferred. Project Details Freelance / Contract Temporary position Hours are based on project needs and are not guaranteed or set each week. Candidates should be available during our Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM working hours. We strongly prefer in-person collaboration, though exceptional remote candidates may be considered.
