Play Lab Guide Owlchemy Play Lab Redondo Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $18.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation Personal service experience with children Venue customer assistance Full Job Description Weekends a must Holidays included Owlchemy is a hands-on creative play space where kids build, create, and explore through art, science, and imagination. Our team actively engages and guides kids to explore ideas, build projects, and feel proud of what they create. We host open play sessions, events, and birthday parties designed to spark imagination and problem-solving. Engage with kids (not just supervise) Welcome families and create a positive first impression Encourage creativity and help kids feel confident Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Reset activity stations throughout the day Support birthday parties and special events Love working with kids ages 3-10 Have a positive, high-energy attitude Are reliable and responsible Are comfortable leading small groups or activities Don't mind cleaning and resetting spaces We're looking for someone who is: Friendly and approachable with children and parents Responsible and dependable Comfortable speaking with guests and enforcing rules Organized and able to multitask Able to stay active and on their feet during shifts Experience working with children Experience in customer service Interest in education, STEM, art, or early childhood learning Creative hobbies (art, crafting, building, etc.) Ability to stand and move for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Ability to bend, kneel, and assist children during activities Must be available Saturdays and Sundays Approximately 20 hours per week

$18.50 per hour
