local entrepreneur with several small businesses and multiple side projects is looking for several "Jack of All trades
  • master of Several" type of people to help with these endeavors. We need people each skilled in multiple disciplines: Cabinetry & Woodworking Mold making & Composites Electrical & Plumbing CAD/3D modeling & CNC operation We specifically need people with experience in precision work
  • preferably in cabinetry or fine carpentry or similar; detailed machining experience can also be applicable.
To be frank, if you don't have expertise in multiple areas, there really is no point in applying, unless you simply want to volunteer for a specific project. We're looking for the "A-Team" type of genius misfits (yes. the Hannibal, Peck, Baracus and Murdock types) Of utmost importance is : Strategic thinking Attention to detail Commitment to excellence. Friendly & Fun to work with and together. We have an established manufacturing business which can use occasional help with special projects, but we primarily need help developing other ventures such as: High end Van Conversions and RV/Tiny Home manufacturing (including emergency housing) House remodeling Low cost Aircraft for youth aviation. Water Filtration and Pumping systems for developing countries. Fully enclosed electric 'Velomobile' (a half 'Smart Car' with pedals) We have our own welding shop, but any metal fabrication experience would be helpful. We also have some older large format CNC machines, so previous work with such routers, lasers and plasma cutters would be a huge bonus, but not necessary (part of what we'll be doing is updating our older machines, to increase our in-house capabilities). What we're really looking for is people with a broad range of experience, that can do lots of problem solving, be comfortable bouncing around between tasks, and can work independently when needed. For the right people, we are willing to be flexible regarding hours
  • whether full or part time
  • and compensation is truly dependent on experience. We're looking for people who want to continue doing what they love
  • hopefully without the stress and politics of full time work.
