Creative Arts Specialists Description:

The Creative Arts Specialist leads a vibrant creative summer arts program that encourages campers to experiment, create, and develop their own artistic voice. This role is ideal for a working artist or arts educator who thrives in a hands-on,munity-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and teach daily studio art classes covering a variety of media, including drawing, painting, collage, making, and mixed media Develop a rotating curriculum that exposes campers to diverse artistic styles and techniques Encourage creative experimentation and personal expression at all skill levels Supervise and manage art supply inventory and studioanization Be available for the camp season - June 22nd through August 15th Participate in 4 pre-camp trainings:

June 1st, June 9th and June 15 (4:30-8:30pm) and June 20th (9:30-1:30pm) Hourly rate based on experience: $20.00 - $25.00

Qualifications:

Degree or significant experience in fine arts, art education, or a related field Experience teaching or working with youth in an educational or creative setting Stronganizational skills and ability to manage a busy studio Ability to stand for 8 hours Genuine enthusiasm for fostering creativity in young people
