We're hiring a Gallery & Marketing Assistant to help manage day-to-day operations and support our digital presence. Responsibilities Greet guests, open/close gallery, and maintain a clean, polished space Assist with hanging artwork and occasional touch-up painting Update the website (via Squarespace or similar platform) Create and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook Photograph artwork and installations for marketing use. Manage email list and send newsletters (Mailchimp or Substack) Support occasional gallery openings and events Operate POS system and assist with in-gallery sales Track inventory, label artwork, and maintain artist files Requirements Experience in high-end retail, art galleries, or marketing is required Strong written and visual communication skills Basic knowledge of Canva, Squarespace, Mailchimp, or similar tools Tech-savvy with a creative eye and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and interacting with the public Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for graphic design tasks.
