This position will be a member of an R D team developing the organization's gaming and interactive initiatives and is responsible for the design and production of digital 3D immersive environments, 3D modeled/textured assets, photogrammetry-based models, 2D computer graphics, 2D and 3D animation, illustrations and photographs under the guidance of the Emerging Media 3D Artist. This position is also responsible for contributing to experiences that place accessibility central to the design process. //equity.unl.edu/notice-nondiscrimination/ Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in emerging media arts, art, film, graphic design, or related field and two (2) years of experience with graphic design, immersive experience design or related experience. Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis. Experience working within at least one game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal 5+). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Maya and/or Blender. Proficiency in office productivity software (ex. Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Slack, Discord, Zoom). Familiarity with accessibility best practices in spatial media creation. Strong design, oral and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented, organized, able to deliver projects on time. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and follow direction. Ability to work as a team member. Preferred Qualifications Public Media Experience Knowledge of 2D and 3D rigging. Understanding of lighting and volumetrics, UV mapping proficiency, and proficiency in creation and game engine implementation of 2D sprites.
