Company Description West End Entertainment is an NYC based independent record label dedicated to revitalizing artist development within the music industry. With a focus on empowering creatives, West End operates across artist management, distribution, and comprehensive label services. Their innovative approach ensures artists have the support they need to thrive. The company fosters a collaborative environment driven by passion for music and artist success. Role Description West End Entertainment is seeking a full(ish)-time A&R Intern to join our on-site team in Manhattan. As an A&R Intern, you will support artist scouting, research new talent, assist with music catalog organization, and contribute to creative development projects. Additional duties include assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and supporting artist relations to ensure smooth workflows. This position is unpaid. Qualifications Strong research and analytical skills to identify and assess new talent Knowledge of music trends paired with a passion for artist development Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a team setting Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle administrative duties Proficiency in music industry software and platforms is a plus Ability to work on-site in Manhattan Familiarity with music industry operations or prior experience in A&R is a plus, but not necessary. A passion and hunger for working in music.
