Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a vibrant and creative Seasonal Facepaint Artist to join our team during the summer and fall season. The job is part time and will train on the job. We plan to hire five people in the next couple of weeks that can work 3-5 days a week (10-20hrs). A work day at the zoo as a facepainter can start as early as 9am and go as late as 5pm during the summer.
We will keep a special eye out for applicants that can work 3-4 days in the evening July-September(5:15-10pm). Duties Apply face paint designs quickly and accurately, ensuring high-quality results that meet guests' expectations Consult with guests to understand their desired looks and provide creative suggestions based on themes or occasions Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols Engage with guests Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and retail sales efficiently Requirements Face painting experience is a plus Great communication for guest Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.2-4 minutes per paint Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and POS operations Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us as a Seasonal Facepaint Artist and be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating magical moments!
