Role:
Join Moio's Italian Pastry Shop as a Cake Icer/Decorator, where your creativity and passion will shine. In this role, you'll craft beautiful and delicious cakes that delight our customers in the Pittsburgh area.
Responsibilities:
Build and ice cakes using various icing techniques and designs. Collaborate with the team to create custom cake designs for special occasions. Ensure all decorations meet quality standards and customer expectations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with the preparation of cake fillings as needed. Contribute to a positive team environment and support fellow decorators.
Requirements:
Proven experience in cake decorating or a related field. Strong understanding of various icing techniques and tools. Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing desserts. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow. Tuesday through Saturday schedule including Sundays and holidays as needed. 6-7 a.m. start time
