Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Customized Employment Team is currently hiring a Coach to work with artists and artisans to assist with the creation and sales of their artwork. Coaches assist artists with artwork creation by supporting them in their studio practice, assisting with packaging and branding, website creation, promotion of artist work, and developing individualized sales and exhibition opportunities.
Please note:
An ideal candidate will have personal artistic or craft practice and a strong network of relationships in the greater Philadelphia arts community. Coaching duties may be split between customized and traditional employment in the community.
Criteria:
The following areas will be evaluated in the decision-making process for filling this position: Interview responses Creativity and flexibility Organization and time management Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle flexible work arrangements, including weekend availability. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage very time-sensitive tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelors or Master of Fine Arts or substantive experience in the arts is required. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel and SharePoint. Possess valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Must have access to an automobile and internet access at home. Must be able to travel throughout Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
