  • Must pass Technical Interview
  • What you will do: Works to verbal, written, video, and computer instructions, blueprints, sketches and specifications.
Sets up and utilizes any necessary equipment/tooling to perform task. Masks surfaces in preparation for paint. Lays out and marks/silk screens parts. Preparation of units for paint including use of compounds, paint and thinner preparation. Touchup and blending of surfaces. Advances or retrieves product, material and tooling for self and others within the department in support of in-process handoffs for next use. Working to verbal and written instructions of supervision, to perform a variety of cleaning operations Performs all duties contained in the Touch-Up Operator B and Finisher C classification as directed. Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment. Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties. Performs other similar duties as required or directed. Machines, Tools, and Equipment used, includes but not limited to: Spray booths, spray guns, air lines, drying ovens and chambers, heat lamps, racks, dollies, skids, viscosity meters, gloss meters, various hand and power tools, stencil cutting machines, mixing equipment, tape, paint thinners, air regulated paint outfits, and compounds.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1
  • 2 years working knowledge of chemical, paint and inspection procedures.
Minimum of 2 years related experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Post-Offer Testing Requirement:
You will be required to take post-offer qualifying assessments to determine whether you meet the Raytheon specific qualifications for this position.

Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement.
