We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help with packing plants, preparing orders, and decorating packages. You don't need formal experience—just consistency, willingness to learn, respect for plants and customers, and an eye for cute design. Our customers' packages are treated with a great deal of attention and precision. All boxes are hand-drawn on, cards are handwritten, and all plants are packed with tissue paper, stickers, hearts, etc. Mistakes are costly, so we are deliberate in our methods, and work as a team to ensure they don't occur. You value doing things the right way, even when they take a little longer, and you treat plants, people, and workspaces with respect. You own up to mistakes immediately so the issue can be fixed, not delayed, as that would be even more costly. Bonus points for experience in art, design, and/or order fulfillment. Work Environment Most work takes place indoors. Our nursery includes two indoor greenhouses and a designated packing/processing area. Tasks may occasionally require briefly stepping outside (e.g., moving supplies between areas).
