Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Commercial AV Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial AV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier commercial AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Setup:

Install, test, and configure AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, and control interfaces.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues with commercial AV systems, ensuring optimal performance.

System Commissioning:

Verify proper system functionality by performing final testing, calibrations, and client training.

Lead & Mentor:

Provide guidance to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality AV solutions.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and service reports.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in professional AV installation and troubleshooting.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, wiring, networking for AV systems, and control system programming (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.).

Certifications:

CTS, CTS-I, or equivalent industry certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and travel to client sites as needed.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to analyze and resolve complex AV issues efficiently.

Team Player:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
