Job Description
The purpose of this class is to develop, implement, train users, and support instructional technology initiatives and projects in enhanced classrooms and other venues. Associate's Degree and five (5) years technology support experience or Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of identical experience. One (1) year of the required experience should be focused on AV and/or media support. Two technical certifications within the IT or AV field required. Knowledge of audio-visual systems and computer equipment required. Install, support, trouble-shoot and maintain hardware and software related to CCBC AV projects, such as smart classroom hardware, new building design, and specific departmental and project requirements. Set up audio visual presentation equipment and record CCBC large scale special events, streaming video presentations, virtual meeting platforms, as well as on site presentation and event visual and sound reinforcement support. Guide and direct team member activities during project assignments and event productions. (local activity Forman/lead) Provide AV content production and basic editing for college event content. Maintain equipment inventory and assist in managing the yearly lifecycle of CCBC classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, and learning spaces.
