Commercial Audiovisual Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform installation tasks for audio-visual projects including but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projectors, and above-ceiling structural work Read and interpret drawings including reflected ceiling plans, elevations, structural and single-line Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems-related tasks Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring Projector and screen support structure installations Test point-to-point functionality of systems Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron/Extron) - upload and download capability Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Technicians Load and test code for control and DSP systems Perform client training as needed Customer liaison in the absence of the Project Manager Responsible for job documentation as needed Demonstrate job site leadership Travel to various job sites required Obtain or hold an OSHA 10-

Hour Construction Course Requirements:

Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and controls Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner Ability to work and think independently and ensure meeting deadlines Basic computer knowledge and customer service experience Ability to manage small to medium projects Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record Nice to
