SENIOR AV TECHNICAL LEAD HELP PEOPLE HAVE AMAZING EVENTS

Kramer Events is seeking a Senior AV Technical Lead to help us scale premium event production while maintaining the execution quality and hospitality standards our reputation is built on. We produce weddings, corporate meetings, galas, and high-end hospitality events throughout California's Central Coast and are continuing to grow rapidly. We are looking for someone who: loves live events and technology leads confidently without ego stays calm under pressure enjoys mentoring and developing others values professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork wants to help build something long-term This is not simply a technician role. We are looking for someone who can combine: strong technical capability event leadership operational awareness positive culture influence problem-solving under pressure What You'll Do Event Production Leadership Lead and support complex AV event execution Operate and troubleshoot professional audio, lighting, and video systems Help ensure events are executed safely, professionally, and on time Support DJs, MCs, technicians, and project leads onsite Assist with advanced event setup, strike, and logistics Technical Planning & Team Support Help evaluate staffing and technical requirements for events Assist with troubleshooting and improving operational workflows Collaborate with operations and sales teams on event feasibility and production planning Help maintain and improve equipment standards and organization Mentor and train technicians and newer team members

Live audio systems Lighting systems and programming Video systems / LED walls Corporate AV Event production leadership Live troubleshooting DJ or wedding production environments Stage, theater, touring, or hospitality AV experience Our Core Values Team First Humble Confidence Always Growing Authentic Own It Requirements Reliable transportation Available weekdays and weekends as needed Ability to lift 75 lbs Comfortable on ladders Experience with Mac and PC Strong communication and leadership skills 18+ years old Compensation & Details Full-time preferred, but open to the right part-time or freelance candidate $65,000-$85,000/year depending on experience and leadership capability Relocation assistance may be considered for exceptional candidates Strong growth opportunity within a rapidly evolving company
