We deliver high-quality, detail-driven installations for both residential and commercial clients across Southern California. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Technician to oversee and execute advanced low-voltage installations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership in the field, and the ability to manage job sites, technicians, and client expectations from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute installations of: Structured cabling (Cat6, fiber, coax) Network systems (routers, switches, access points - UniFi experience preferred) Audio/Video systems (multi-room audio, TV mounting, home theater) Access control and surveillance systems Interpret project scopes, plans, and schematics Manage and direct field technicians on job sites Ensure quality control, clean installations, and proper cable management Configure and troubleshoot network and AV systems Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and internal team Maintain accurate job notes, material usage, and daily reports Oversee van stock and ensure proper inventory tracking Requirements Minimum 5+ years experience in low-voltage / AV integration Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, switching) Experience with Ubiquiti/UniFi systems preferred Experience with Crestron Home or similar automation platforms is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, ladders) Compensation & Benefits Starting at $35/hour (based on experience; increases with skill level) Opportunities for growth and advancement Health care benefits available 401(k) plan available Why Join WyreDreams?
