Construction AV Technician Audio Visual

Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Installation of commercial Audio Visual systems and AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.). Installation, configuration, and testing of Video Conference (VTC) products (Polycom, LifeSize, Cisco, etc.). Audio DSP platform installation experience. Read basic Audio Visual engineering drawings. Pull and terminate cables. Test and troubleshoot AV and VTC systems. Maintain cleanliness and safety on site. What we are looking for : Minimum 2 years experience of permanent installation of commercial AV systems. Knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems is required. Crestron, AMX and/or Extron certifications a plus. CTS or CTS-I certification is a plus CEDIA certification is a plus.

Requirements:

Must have experience running and terminating all types of cables and connections in a commercial environment. Ability to read blueprints, interpret drawings, plans and specifications. Excellent communication skills. 2 years experience installing and/or servicing AV equipment in commercial construction settings.
