In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of audiovisual systems across various venues and settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless audio and visual experiences for meetings, events, conferences, and live productions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while providing exceptional service to clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control systems. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of AV hardware to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose technical issues related to software, hardware, cabling, and connectivity; resolve problems efficiently to minimize downtime. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install or repair complex AV systems. Manage cabling infrastructure ensuring proper routing, labeling, and safety standards are maintained in accordance with electrical codes. Collaborate with clients and team members to understand technical requirements for events or installations; provide expert advice on system capabilities. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform mechanical adjustments or repairs on AV components as needed. Skills Strong electrical experience with a focus on low voltage systems and telecommunication infrastructure. Proficiency in E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles for system integration. Hands-on experience with field service operations including troubleshooting software issues on various platforms. Knowledge of computer hardware components and software troubleshooting techniques related to AV systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Mechanical aptitude for working with tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, crimpers, and testers for maintenance tasks. Familiarity with cabling practices including fiber optic, HDMI, VGA, audio cables, and power distribution setups.
