Corporate AV Support Technician II

The Onsite Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Onsite Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

Setup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: ensuring that all technology works as designed and testing/repairing various hardware components Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans. Responsible for job site documentation and providing client training on the AV Technology as needed Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and video/audio recording support where applicable Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties Setup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systems Travel to various job sites as required At a minimum, the Maintenance Technician will accomplish the following tasks as part of their responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance and training to end users in the operation of AV systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/VTC systems.
• Perform advanced routine maintenance support on all AV systems including but not limited to basic troubleshooting and system fault isolation, projector lamp changes, filter cleaning, etc.
• Provide Show Tech Support of planned events, both onsite and off, as needed
• Work flexible schedule as required.
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintaining active status board on system readiness, etc.
• Perform service level troubleshooting and maintenance support on

AV & VTC

systems.

• Setup and monitor video calls as needed.
• Ensure vendor compliance with all Customer safety and procedural guidelines at all times.
• Track all maintenance activity start to finish with proper documentation.
• Maintain sufficient spares on hand to affect rapid problem resolution for routine service issues.
• Coordinate RMA processing and parts procurement as needed.
• Coordinate outside rental & staging services for special events as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory on all AV/VTC systems including spare parts.
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintaining active status board on system readiness, etc.
• At the request of customer, review audiovisual design and builds.

AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account. This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.

Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner including soldering & crimping connectors Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines Intermediate computer knowledge Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred
