$34-$39/hr DOE + Benefits About the Opportunity Professional Employment Group (PEG) is partnering with a leading audiovisual integration organization to identify a Commercial AV Install Technician III / Project Foreman. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading field installation teams, commissioning advanced AV systems, managing project execution, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. What You'll Be Doing Field Leadership & Project Execution Lead installation teams on commercial AV projects from rough-in through final commissioning Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, clients, general contractors, architects, and IT teams Manage crew assignments, project schedules, and material staging Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and according to company quality standards Document field changes, redlines, and as-built conditions AV System Installation & Commissioning Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling including Cat6/6A, fiber, coax, speaker, and control cabling Build, wire, label, and commission AV equipment racks System Troubleshooting & Optimization Diagnose complex system issues across hardware, software, cabling, programming, and networking layers Configure and optimize DSP platforms including Biamp, Q-SYS, and Extron Perform audio tuning, signal verification, and final system testing Conduct client training and system walkthroughs Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of commercial AV installation experience 2+ years in a Lead Technician, Foreman, or senior field leadership role preferred Experience leading installation teams and coordinating field activities Strong understanding of AV system commissioning and troubleshooting Experience with commercial audio, video, control, and collaboration systems Ability to read and interpret: AV drawings One-line diagrams Rack elevations Signal flow diagrams Network schematics Technical Experience Experience with some or all of the following: Crestron Extron Biamp Tesira
