General Purpose:
The Audio-Visual Technician's primary role is to assist in the set up and operation of audio-visual equipment. Works with Lead Audio Visual Technician to ensure that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and is accountable for all inventory before, during and after each event.
Essential Duties:
  • Operates film, slide, video, data projectors, audio equipment, and lighting equipment to project or produce still or moving pictures, background music, oral commentary, to illustrate, clarify, or enhance impact of a presentation.
  • Coordinates equipment operation with material presented, according to notations in script or instructions of speaker.
  • Maintains equipment in working condition.
  • Makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and notifies maintenance personnel when correction of major malfunction is required.
  • Positions, installs, and connects equipment such as microphones, amplifiers, and lights.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Contribute to the effective management of day to day operations according to company procedures.
  • Timely and accurate set up and strike of equipment for client functions according to company guidelines.
  • Continually improve audiovisual skill and knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
