The Audio Visual Audio Visual Field Supervisor Reports To:

Installation Manager Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coordinate, and prioritize daily project-related activities and field operations Supervise, mentor, and support field technicians during the installation and commissioning of AV systems Collaborate closely with the Installation Manager and Project Engineer to understand project scope, address site challenges, and ensure successful project execution Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Configure and program control systems, DSPs, audio mixers, and other specialized AV equipment as required by system design Install, integrate, and maintain AV/IT systems including racks, displays, projectors, cameras, VTC systems, microphones, and speakers Perform system commissioning activities including testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality assurance verification Diagnose and resolve technical and performance issues related to AV/IT system configurations Provide end-user training and operational documentation upon project completion Maintain accurate redline documentation and system configuration records for final customer deliverables

Required Qualifications:

Strong organizational and leadership skills with experience managing teams of five or more technicians 10+ years of experience in AV installation and construction methodologies 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AV commissioning and system testing Strong knowledge of AV signal processing, networking, and control system programming CTS, CTS-I, or equivalent industry certification preferred Extensive experience with DSPs, control systems, and network-based audio/video distribution technologies Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations effectively
