Your work will ensure the seamless operation of AV systems for our clients, primarily in the cruise and entertainment industries. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, a high level of attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a solid foundation in AV systems, willing to work in dynamic environments and capable of handling complex installations and service calls both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Installation & Configuration Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements. Install and configure AV equipment such as projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, lighting systems, and control panels. Pull and terminate cables, fabricate AV racks, and perform system wiring. Calibrate and test systems to ensure functionality and performance in line with specifications and client expectations. Read and interpret technical documents including schematics, manuals, and engineering drawings. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on AV systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in the field or remotely. Coordinate repair processes with manufacturers or internal technical support teams. Document and maintain service records and logs. Customer Service Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries and service issues. Deliver on-site training to clients on AV system use and basic troubleshooting. Ensure all work is completed with a focus on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Technical Development & Collaboration Stay current on AV technology trends and product developments. Maintain up-to-date certifications and training as required. Collaborate with Project Managers, Logistics, and Warehouse teams for equipment handling and order coordination. Support team members during larger installations or complex service calls. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in the AV industry, especially with installation, service, and troubleshooting of audio, video, and lighting systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Familiarity with control systems and AV networking is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed. Valid driver's license and passport. Ability to travel including international assignments on cruise vessels.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
