We produce events that generate real revenue, real impact, and real attention — both in-person and virtually. We are looking for someone who can operate under pressure and execute flawlessly in a live environment. Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Event AV Technician to lead and execute audio, video, and streaming for hybrid and live events. This is NOT a beginner role. You will be responsible for running the full technical environment of a live event — including cameras, audio, LED wall, and live streaming — while managing real-time changes without disrupting the experience. What You'll Do Set up, test, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video displays, lighting, and control systems to ensure optimal performance during events. Run AV and production for live and hybrid events (in-person + virtual) Operate OBS Studio for switching, streaming, and media control Manage Zoom (spotlighting, breakout rooms, chat, participant control) Integrate presentations and media using ProPresenter and LED wall systems Set up and operate multi-camera configurations (stage, audience, roaming/PTZ/robocam) Manage audio: mic swaps, levels, fades, music transitions Coordinate with mic runners, camera operators, and event staff Run stage clock, manage timing, and adapt to run-of-show changes Troubleshoot issues in real-time (streaming, Zoom, audio, LED wall, etc.) Maintain a calm, controlled environment for speakers, guests, and clients Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Proven experience in live event AV production (not just studio or solo shoots) Strong proficiency with OBS Studio ( required ) Deep familiarity with Zoom (breakout rooms, spotlighting, chat, controls) Experience with live streaming setups (Zoom, StreamYard, or similar) Strong understanding of audio systems (live mixing, mic management, transitions) Experience with multi-camera live switching and event workflows Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure High attention to detail — mistakes during live events are not acceptable Strong leadership and communication skills (ability to direct a small team) Available 40+ hours/week (full-time only, no freelancers) Preferred (Plus) Experience with ProPresenter Experience with LED wall / screen integration Familiarity with wireless HDMI transmitters and AirPlay workflows Experience running stage timing / countdown systems Performance Standard Zero preventable technical failures during live events Ability to adapt instantly to run-of-show changes Calm, controlled execution under pressure If you have never run AV for a live event from start to finish, this role is not for you.
