If you have AutoCad experience and are looking to take the next step in your career, this is an opportunity to work on projects involving Fire Alarm, Access Control, Securtity, Audio Visual, Structured Cabling, and Network Infrastruture while gaining valuable experience in project management, engineering coordination, and construction operations. This is more than a drafting position-you will play an active role in bringing projects from concept to completion by collaborating with project managers, field teams, contractors, engineers, and customers. Whether you're looking to grow into a Project Manager or become a technical leader in the low voltage industry, we'll provide the opportunity to help you suceed. What You'll Do Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements Creat, update and maintain AutoCAD shop drawings, system layouts, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation for low voltage system. Coordinate drawing revisions with project managers, field personnel, and other trades Prepare and manage submittal packages for engineer and owner approval Produce project closeout documentation and record drawings Coordinate with general contractors, owners, consultants, manufacturers, and field personnel Track project milestones, material deliveries, and closeout requirements Support field teams by resolving design and installation issues Maintain project documentation, drawing logs, and revision control Participate in project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle Assist with estimating , takeoffs, and pre-construction coordination Manage multiple active projects while maintaining deadlines and quality standards Systems You'll Work With Fire Alarm Access Control Structured Cabling Audio Visual (AV) Intercom/Paging CCTV/ Security Systems Network Infrastructure What we are looking for AutoCAD proficiency required Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite preferred Revit/BIM coordinatoin experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and construction documents. Experience in commercial construction, electrical, fire alarm, AV, security, or low-voltage systems preferred Self- motivated with strong problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and project coordination skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Valid driver's license required Why join Alarm & Communication Systems?
