We are seeking an experienced NICET certified Security & Audio‑Visual (AV) Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial low‑voltage systems. This role focuses on AV systems, video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and structured cabling. CCTV, IP
cameras, access control systems, and intrusion alarms Pull, terminate, label, and test low‑voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber, speaker wire) Configure IP‑based systems, PoE devices, and networked AV equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents Troubleshoot system, signal, and networking issues Complete inspections, testing reports, and as‑built documentation Train end users on AV and security system operation Ensure compliance with NICET, NFPA, NEC, and local codes Required Qualifications Active NICET Certification (Level II or higher required) 3+ years of experience as an AV Technician, Security Technician, or Low‑Voltage Technician Strong knowledge of audio‑visual systems and electronic security systems Commercial installation experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Axis, Genetec, Lenel) Fire alarm or life‑safety system interface experience Network troubleshooting experience (TCP/IP, VLANs) Lead technician or supervisory experience Benefits

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
