Job Description
Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate test equipment, machinery and AV equipment; use power tools; work at heights using ladders and scaffolding; and drive a UMD vehicle. Must be able to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs.; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance, to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials (must be able to climb a ladder and to work from a lift up to twenty feet in height).Licenses/Certifications:
Must have a valid driver's license.Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Experience:
Three (3) years of audio visual programming experience.Other:
Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Knowledge of audio visual technology. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in the use of Google Office Suite. Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.Additional Job Details Preferences:
Crestron Programming experience, along with their entire software suite Audio DSP Programming experience - QSys Designer, Biamp Tesira & Shure Designer Shure Designer experience including Beamforming microphones Sound system tuning knowledge and experience including gain structure, AEC, AGC, EQ, Dynamics, etc. Entire AV system commissioning experienceEDID & HDCP
knowledge and experience Crestron NVX experience and other AVoIP solutions Networking for AVoIP, Dante, AES67, NDI, etc knowledge and experience General Networking knowledge and experience AVIXA CTS, CTS-I or CTS-D Extremely well versed in classroom design methodologies High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, creativity and commitment. Ability to work in a busy environment with multiple project timelines and on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible Committed to customer satisfaction: exceptional skills in collaboration, consultation, communication, customer support, data analysis, and time management.Additional Information:
