Job Description

OAV is an audio visual live event and integration company serving the Midwest. We service live event production and integrated system design and installation for businesses, organizations, houses of worship, hospitality venues, sports teams and much more. Our core values include being a high quality, efficient service based team centered around community and family. OAV is looking to welcome a dynamic, results-oriented professional to our team. We're looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives on engaging with clients and delivering top-tier Audio Visual solutions. As the primary liaison between resort staff and clients, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring every event is flawlessly executed, even under tight deadlines.
SUMMARY:
As a Live Event Specialist, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment, ensuring smooth execution of events. You will serve as a key point of contact for both clients and resort staff, providing exceptional support and coordination. This role reports directly to the Hospitality Experience Manager and Senior Live Event Specialist.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate a range of equipment to be show-ready, including microphones, sound systems, video screens, projectors, monitors, recording devices, and mixing boards, ensuring seamless execution of events and functions within hospitality venues Engage with customers at events to confirm that all equipment is configured according to the layout and the customer's specific needs and preferences. Test and resolve equipment issues. Diagnose and correct media system problems. Clean audio and video equipment and store properly Safely prep, pack, and return AV equipment to its proper warehouse or storage room after each event Ensure the safe storage and integrity of data Maintain inventory of equipment Expected hours: 15
