• AV Technician (Level 1-2)
• Position Overview
• Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AV Technician (Level 1-2) to support commercial audiovisual installations.

This entry to mid-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on experience in AV systems, structured cabling, and field installation work. The technician will work under the direction of senior technicians and project leadership to assist in delivering high-quality installations across a variety of commercial environments.

• Key Responsibilities
• AV Installation Support
• Assist with installation, termination, and basic testing of AV systems
• Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage and structured cabling
• Mount displays, projectors, speakers, and AV hardware
• Follow installation drawings, schematics, and standards
• AV Systems & Technologies
• Support the deployment of commercial AV environments, including:
• Conference rooms and collaboration spaces
• Training rooms and classrooms
• Video conferencing and digital signage systems Work with equipment such as:
• Displays, projectors, and projection screens
• Speakers, microphones, and amplifiers
• Control systems and AV connectivity
• Structured cabling systems
• Troubleshooting & Quality Control
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of AV systems
• Perform system checks and support commissioning activities
• Identify and escalate technical issues to senior team members
• Ensure installations meet quality and performance standards
• Team & Job Site Support
• Work collaboratively with technicians and project teams on job sites
• Follow direction from Lead Technicians and Project Managers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Comply with all job site safety requirements
• Documentation & Reporting
• Complete timesheets and basic job documentation accurately
• Assist with material tracking and inventory management
• Support punch list completion and project closeout tasks
• Qualifications
• 0-3+ years of experience in AV installation, low-voltage, or related field
• Basic knowledge of audiovisual systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret drawings is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed

• Level 1-2 (Entry to Mid-Level)

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
