Job Description

ATG Entertainment - Charlotte Area $250 - $650 per event | Part-time | Contract We are looking for AV technicians who are reliable, technically sharp, and want to be part of a professional corporate event team. Our work includes corporate meetings, conferences, product launches, galas, award shows, and private corporate functions. This is not a permanent venue position. Our AV techs are field operators who set up, run, and break down audio and video systems on-site, working directly with clients and our event team to make sure every event runs smoothly. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and break down audio and video equipment for corporate events, conferences, and private functions Run sound systems, wireless mics, projectors, LED walls, and presentation playback during live events Support presenters, panels, and keynote speakers with mic checks, audio mixing, and slide/video cues Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during live events Coordinate load-in and load-out with the event team and venue staff Work with our team to deliver a professional, seamless experience for corporate clients Preferred Experience AV experience at corporate events, conferences, hotels, convention centers, or production companies Comfortable running live sound for speakers, panels, and music playback Familiar with mixers, wireless mic systems, projectors, LED walls, and basic video switching Basic understanding of signal flow, XLR, HDMI, and SDI Experience with brands like QSC, Shure, Sennheiser, Allen & Heath, Yamaha, or ROE is a plus AV experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism. Requirements Available weekdays and weekends as events are booked Reliable transportation Professional appearance and attitude (corporate-appropriate dress code) Able to lift and move speakers, cases, and equipment (50+ lbs) Comfortable working long event days, including early load-ins and late tear-downs Dependable and on time What We Provide Events are booked and managed for you Training and support Professional audio and video equipment Clear communication and prep before every event Opportunity for consistent work and growth Pay $250 - $650 per event depending on experience and role.
