Audio-Visual Coordinator Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Not Applicable Reports to:
Senior Pastor & Trustees Chairperson Part-Time:
10 hours per week

Primary Purpose:
Operation of audio-visual systems for in person and online streaming of worship services and rehearsals in order to fulfill our mission to know Christ and make Christ known as we worship, grow and serve together.
Essential Duties:
  • Operate soundboard and audio equipment during worship services, special events and rehearsals
  • Work with worship team and leadership to support technical needs
  • Set up before, between and after worship services
  • Coordinate volunteers to assist with slides and/or streaming each Sunday
  • Maintain and organize all A/V and streaming equipment
  • Manage projector system for multimedia presentations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently
  • Assist worship leaders in creating slides in ProPresenter
  • Other duties as directed by the

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED and three years equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a facilities/systems maintenance field
  • Experience with church Audio/Visual preferred but not required Knowledge/Skills Base
  • Advanced knowledge of A/V equipment and audio mixing
  • Basic knowledge of ProPresenter and StreamYard
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Basic understanding of the United Methodist Church's structure and organization preferred Other Requirements Annual Safe Sanctuary Training Quarterly & Annual review with the Senior Pastor Communicate with assigned liaison from the Staff Parish Relations Committee.
