Role Overview Tier 1 Field Technicians are entry-level installers responsible for supporting AV installation projects through hands-on labor, basic technical tasks, and adherence to company processes. This role focuses on learning industry fundamentals, jobsite best practices, and core AV concepts while working under direct supervision. Core Responsibilities Assist with installation of audio, video, networking, security, and low-voltage systems Pull, label, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, speaker wire) Mount TVs and equipment with supervision Maintain clean and organized job sites and work vehicles Track time, materials, and daily work activity in company systems Complete basic job documentation, photos, and daily reports Follow safety standards, building codes, and company procedures Support troubleshooting under direction of senior technicians Qualifications & Skills Strong reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn Basic understanding of AV components (TVs, receivers, routers, speakers) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (ladders, crawlspaces, attics) Basic hand and power tool competency or ability to learn quickly No experience required, we will train you!
