With a mission to provide essential human services and support local agencies, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our community members through various initiatives and fundraising efforts. Summary The Theater and Special Events Associate plays a key role in supporting a range of live performances, special events, and rental activities. This position will focus primarily on alcohol inventory and service but also assist across theater operations—including tech, programing, and client relations—based on skill set. We're looking for a hands-on, proactive individual with a passion for the arts and event production. Responsibilities Hours Full time including Weekends and Evenings as needed Alcohol & Bar Service Manage weekly alcohol inventory and place orders as needed Special Events Support Serve primarily in alcohol service roles at events Assist in ticketing, stage management, or A/V/lighting operations as needed and based on experience Rental Events Support weekend and evening rental events Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure correct room setup Troubleshoot minor A/V needs such as setting up microphones, laptops, Zoom, etc. Technical & Physical Support Theater maintenance tasks including lighting/audio adjustments, painting, network and physical set/patching, and light carpentry Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs to shoulder height and work in elevated catwalks (20-50 feet) Other Duties as Assigned Flexibility to take on new tasks and assist across departments as needed
Requirements Required:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Performing Arts, Theater Tech, Hospitality, or a related field (2 years of relevant full-time experience may be substituted for education) 3 years of experience (including part-time or educational) in at least one of the following:
Food and Beverage Music Technology Theater Stage Management Theater Technology Valid Driver's License Preferred:
