This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in audio visual systems, telecommunication, and electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. As a vital part of our service team, you'll troubleshoot, install, and maintain cutting-edge AV and communication systems, empowering organizations to communicate effectively and operate smoothly. Your energetic approach and technical prowess will drive success in every project you undertake! Duties Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio visual equipment including projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, and control systems in various settings. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on AV systems and related electrical infrastructure to ensure reliability and safety. Assist with cabling, wiring, and schematics interpretation for low voltage systems such as telecommunication lines and data networks. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, mount, and secure hardware components accurately. Diagnose software issues related to AV control systems, video conferencing platforms, and computer hardware; implement effective solutions promptly. Conduct field service visits for on-site repairs, system upgrades, and client training sessions to maximize system performance. Follow electrical codes (E & I) standards during installations and repairs while maintaining detailed documentation of work performed. Skills Strong understanding of electrical experience, including low voltage wiring and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with computer hardware troubleshooting and software diagnostics for AV systems. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks. Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure, cabling practices, and schematics reading. Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Familiarity with electrical codes (E & I) standards relevant to AV and telecommunication installations.
