We're seeking an AV Detailer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and precision—someone who can translate visionary designs into highly detailed, production-ready technical drawings that power some of the most dynamic environments in the industry. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges and take pride in seeing your work come to life on stage, in exhibits, and immersive spaces, this role is for you. What You'll Do Technical Drafting & Documentation You'll serve as a key driver behind production, creating precise, installation-ready documentation in Vectorworks under fast-paced timelines. Produce accurate, build-ready Vectorworks drawings for live events and AV installations Develop scaled technical drawings, including: Floor plans Reflected ceiling plans Truss and rigging plots Full system layouts Design audio systems, including PA, front fills, delays, and monitor configurations Create lighting plots, including fixture placement, focus areas, power, and data distribution Develop video and LED system layouts, including panel counts, processors, and mounting details Produce electrical distribution documentation, including tie-ins, feeders, and load calculations Collaboration & Execution You'll partner closely with creative and technical teams to ensure concepts are not only visually compelling, but fully buildable and functional in real-world environments. Collaborate with Designers and AV teams to ensure concepts are feasible, integrated, and production-ready Translate creative intent into detailed AV documentation covering displays, mounts, cabling, power, and signal flow Partner with Estimators to support labor planning and identify efficient fabrication and integration solutions Work closely with Project Managers to deliver complex AV environments on time and within budget Coordinate with fabricators, AV technicians, and vendors to ensure seamless execution from design through installation Support Graphics teams with accurate elevations reflecting AV placement Assist the Service team with staging, prep, and shipping of AV systems and builds What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) and 4+ years of experience in AV integration, exhibit detailing, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Vectorworks experience strongly preferred) Solid understanding of: Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerancing Fabrication and manufacturing processes Working knowledge of AV systems, including: Displays and LED systems Rigging and structural coordination Power distribution Cable management and signal flow Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills Proven problem-solving ability with a practical, solutions-first mindset Experience working with production materials and fabrication methods in AV environments Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AV technologies and workflows #LI-WK1 Why Join Peak Technologies?
