Low Voltage Audio/Video and Security Technician Needed

Amp You Up AV & Security is a high-end Audio/Video and Security installation company based on Long Island, NY. We focus on clean, professional installs with attention to detail — no sloppy work, no shortcuts. We are looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician for weekend work (ideal for someone already in the field looking to pick up additional hours).

What You'll Be Doing:

Installing and configuring whole-home audio systems, Wi-Fi networks, security cameras, and home theaters Running and terminating Cat6, coax, and speaker wire Rack work, device setup, and system testing Maintaining clean, organized, and labeled installs

What We're Looking For:

3+ years hands-on low voltage / AV experience Strong termination skills (RJ45, RJ11, RG6, BNC) Solid understanding of residential wiring (Cat6, speakers, coax) Experience with systems like UniFi, Sonos, Sonance or similar (preferred) Ability to work independently and take pride in clean work Comfortable in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders Reliable transportation Available weekends This is a part-time/weekend position with opportunity for more work as we grow.

Pay:

$25-$40/hour (based on experience and quality of work)
