1099 Independent Contractor Urgently Hiring About Us One World Rental is a global event technology company providing iPads, laptops, scanners, networking equipment, kiosks, registration technology, and onsite IT support for conferences, exhibitions, corporate meetings, and live events worldwide. We are seeking 2 experienced Freelance IT Technicians to support an upcoming event in Southampton, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join our contractor network and be considered for future event assignments throughout the United States. Scope of Work Arrive onsite for setup from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Provide onsite IT support through 6:00 PM Configure, test, and troubleshoot event technology equipment Work closely with fellow technicians and event staff Ensure all equipment is functioning properly throughout the event Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times Equipment Onsite Experience with the following equipment is highly preferred: DYMO LabelWriter 450 printers ProMag RFID Readers 2D Barcode Scanners Peplink Routers Network Switches General event registration and networking equipment Requirements Previous experience supporting live events, conferences, trade shows, or corporate meetings Strong troubleshooting and networking skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable transportation Must be available for the full event schedule Compensation $250 Day Rate $30 Per Diem Paid biweekly as a 1099 Independent Contractor How to Apply Apply only if you are available on June 26 and have relevant event technology experience.
