Installer / Junior Technician Salary range: $25- $35 / hour About the Role Automated Ideas and Solutions is seeking a Low Voltage Technician with hands-on experience in installation and system integration. This role is ideal for someone looking to increase their knowledge in network, distributed audio/video, surveillance, access control, and other systems. Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling Mount and configure TVs, speakers, and AV systems Install and troubleshoot network infrastructure and equipment Set up and service access control and surveillance systems Read and follow plans, diagrams, and system layouts Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Qualifications 2+ years of low voltage or related installation experience required Basic understanding of cabling, networking, and AV systems Experience with tools, testing equipment, and job site best practices Valid driver's license required Clean, professional work and attention to detail What We Offer Competitive pay ($25-$35+ based on experience) Health and dental insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Steady, year-round work with a growing company Professional, team-oriented environment Additional Details Full-time position Workdays begin and end in Southampton Overtime and weekend work available as needed
