Position Overview We are seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Specialist to provide daily operational support for classroom and event AV systems supporting USAFCoE training missions at Fort Sill, OK. Responsibilities Provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support for classroom AV systems, including TEAMS-based video conferencing. Operate, configure, and adjust AV equipment (projectors, displays, microphones, mixers, control systems). Perform preventative maintenance (cleaning, filter and lamp changes) and basic repairs on AV equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve classroom AV performance issues; coordinate with technical points of contact to restore full functionality. Use AESMP and SharePoint repositories to track tickets, workload, and sustainment reporting. Maintain AV equipment inventories and support an AV loaner program. Set up, operate, and tear down AV for ceremonies, conferences, and special events; conduct site surveys and determine equipment configuration. Provide user training and briefings on AV system operation.
Requirements:
Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field; OR 3+ years of AV support experience. InfoComm International Certification in Audiovisual Technology (CTS preferred for installation). Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Basic Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron training (or ability to complete within 120 days of hire). Solid oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand equipment settings related to normal AV/IT system operation. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 20 feet. English fluency and intermediate Microsoft 365 skills for documentation and communication.
