Description Visual Sound is seeking a skilled Field Engineer for our Corporate Office in Broomall, PA. This role is accountable for troubleshooting, re-installation and maintenance of electronic audio/visual equipment, installing and servicing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum down time and maximum performance.
Responsibilities:
Field Commissioning of AV Systems and other Engineering related duties. Communicating system performance to the customer and to the Installation Department. Final commissioning of audio-visual equipment, including, but not limited to audio DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTC systems, and video processors. Assisting the Technical Operations team performing installation and system commissioning work as needed. Creating user guides and train end users on how to use their A/V control systems. Refining current processes, developing better workflows, and making educated recommendations. Workin closely with the Installation Manager and the Manager of AV Integration to ensure a professional and safe working environment. Maintaing clear communication, documentation and organization of paperwork, tools and company vehicle. Traveling to client sites and occasional out of town travel. Position Requirements Formal education in Electronics or related field. Minimum two years of AV experience. A four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experience Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence etc.) both hardware and software AVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred.
