Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Director of IT Service Delivery, the Senior A/V Consultant serves as the college's subject-matter expert for audio/visual technologies across campus. This role partners with academic departments, IT Engineering, and space stakeholders to design, support, and maintain A/V systems that meet TCTC's operational, instructional, and security standards. The Senior A/V Consultant develops and manages A/V standards for all campus learning and event spaces, analyzes business needs, creates RFQs, and oversees implementation of integrated A/V solutions. This position also provides advanced troubleshooting, ensures life-cycle management of A/V assets, and guides service specialists through mentorship and knowledge sharing. Job Responsibilities but are not limited to: A/V Design & Consultation System Implementation & Maintenance Troubleshooting & Support Project Management Documentation & Knowledge Management Leadership & Mentorship Other duties as assigned A bachelor's degree and experience in automated information or communication system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing. Related experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. and install workstation equipment and peripherals.
