Audio/Video Technician Assistant

Overview This Chattanooga based field technician works with a lead technician, project manager and project engineer to successfully install audio, video and control systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities Rack construction, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installation Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations Installation of completed racks, projectors, monitors and related submounts Assists with testing of system components to assure system completeness Uses company approved installation methods and techniques Assures each system's physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings Maintain an on-going dialog with Lead Installation Technician and Project Manager, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations Turning in daily activity sheets Comply with all aspects of the Employee Handbook, Installation Handbook, and all other Directives Experience High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite Experience installing audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems and related systems Must maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record Excellent reasoning skills, particularly in regards to carrying out instructions received through a variety of forms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management skills, such as prompt arrival for work and adherence to a tight installation schedule Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding A strong desire to work in and contribute to a successful team environment Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
