Job Description

Unistar-Sparco is a fast-paced technology company with an eye on the future. We have grown into a comprehensive IT Solutions provider delivering information technology hardware, software, and professional services. We are headquartered in Millington, Tennessee. Position Summary Unistar-Sparco is seeking an AV / Low Voltage Technician to support our expanding technology services. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy, customer service-driven person who is dedicated, hardworking, and motivated to grow with a rapidly expanding organization. Training is provided on the job with a Lead Technician and/or Lead Trainer. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot AV and low voltage systems (including projectors, security cameras, and interactive boards) at customer sites.
  • Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage/data cabling to meet quality and performance standards.
  • Provide professional, responsive customer service and communicate work status clearly with customers and internal teams.
  • Work alongside Lead Technicians/Trainers to follow installation standards, safety practices, and project requirements. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience installing and/or repairing projectors.
  • Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to learn quickly and apply on-the-job training. Able to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more. Follow required safety procedures. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. This position will require some travel and overnight stays(compensated). Experience with security camera installations. Strong background in cabling (running, terminating, and testing). Strong customer service skills and a professional, dependable work ethic. Preferred Skills Broader low-voltage experience (AV, access control, cameras, structured cabling). Familiarity with diagnosing signal/cabling issues and validating system performance. Comfort working on ladders, in ceilings, or in other installation environments, and experience with power tools. No experience required, but preferred. Ability to pass background & drug test. Work Environment This position is hands-on and in-field-focused and may require work in schools, offices, and other customer environments. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical installation tasks and working as part of a fast-moving team.
