PURPOSE This position is responsible for providing technical assistance with lights, sound, and staging requirements as part of the PAC technical team to include audio-visual Q-Lab preparation and execution, working with projectors, PowerPoint presentations, video switcher technology and other AV, sound, and light equipment and operations. Provide a safe environment and some maintenance of equipment required. In addition, responsible for client meetings and Box Office work and facility supervision as determined by PAC Director. This is an event driven work schedule requiring mostly midafternoon/night and weekend shifts within a 40-hour work week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Area 1:
Event Support Percent Effort:
70% Provide technical assistance with lights, sound, and staging requirements as part of the PAC technical team to include audio-visual Q-Lab preparation and execution. Work with projectors, PowerPoint presentations, video switcher technology and other AV, sound, and light equipment and operations while also working with technical students in training. Assist the Technical Manager in the initial outreach to clients about their technical needs for the variety of functions in this multi-purpose facility in a professional manner. Responsible for assisting when needed with facility operations when numerous events are planned to include but not limited to facility oversight, confirmation of calendar requests, and box office coverage. Functional Area 2:
Administrative Duties Percent Effort:
25% Responsible for long-range monthly planning of stage and lobby equipment change-over timing and keeping those up-to-date and posted in a timely fashion, responsible for keeping technical planning calendars up to date and meeting with the Technical Manager to keep him informed of any changes or needs. Keep track of all technical inventory. Responsible for student worker scheduling in TEAMS to coincide with PAC schedule. Functional Area 3:

5% Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED. Four (4) years of related experience. Additional education may be considered as a substitute for the minimum experience requirement: Associate's degree with two (2) years of related experience Bachelor's degree Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Event driven work schedule requiring mostly midafternoon/night and weekend shifts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year related experience in theatre or performing arts.
SALARY:
$14.95 - $16.95/hourly $31,096 - $35,256/annually, approximately
